Lean about some common optimisations and anti-patterns before going on a deeper dive into relational databases - schema changes with no downtime, tuning indexes, using special column types and more, as well as some of the new features appearing in relational databases. The talk will have a focus on Django and PostgreSQL, but will also cover other databases and be helpful to people writing database code in any environment.
